Yes parents it's that time again!! Sallie B. Howard is accepting enrollment applications for the 2007-2008 school year. With your child as a student at our school you can expect him/her to receive instruction through proven techniques such as brain-based learning strategies and the Reading First Program that are designed   to enhance learning. We follow the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Through the use of data-driven instruction, we target the students’ areas of weakness while building upon their strengths. Tutoring is offered throughout the year. We have multicultural diversity among both staff and students. We offer a rich arts curriculum (performing, visual and media arts, i.e. music, drama, dance, art, broadcasting, etc.), study abroad program for middle school and extracurricular activities such as mime, praise dance, step team, tennis, gospel choir, band, basketball, soccer, etc. Recent graduates are now attending NC School for the Arts and Alabama School of Fine Arts.
